1: Divi Design Initiative 2.0
In todays episode, we say thank you to all the mom’s out there who are hustling to build a family and their business. We also focus on Divi Design Initiative 2.0
What’s up internet? Welcome to Episode Two of Divi addicts. First and foremost, this is a very special edition. This is a Mother’s Day edition. So before we get into our topic for the day, I want to say thank you, to all moms out there. My mom was a single mom, and she raised us. And it’s made me look at parenting and business and resilience and all of those things in a very unique way, because she was such an amazing person and a great role model. So for all of you who are out there, grinding, doing both business, side hustle at night and raising a family hat’s off to you all, it is an amazing task. And one that I know isn’t easy. So today we’re going to talk about Divi design initiative 2.0. And without further ado, let’s hop right in.
So Debian design initiative 2.0 is a huge step forward, in my opinion, Elegant Themes has recommitted to the design packs, and to the community by saying we’re going to pump out double the amount of layout packs each week, compared to what we’ve been doing before. And these layout packs are not just thrown together. These are high quality professional designs that look amazing. So huge shout out to Elegant Themes and all the designers building these layout packs.
The real question is who benefits from this? And why is Elegant Themes doing this? I’m sure each person who uses Divi, for whatever reason, may have a different answer to that question. But for us, it’s a simple answer. And that’s that we and our clients benefit from this. So we’re hugely excited about the initiative 2.0. And here’s the most important reason, we worked with a lot of small businesses, we’ve worked with a lot of large businesses too. But the small businesses always have a special place in our heart. And what is always the biggest struggle for a small business or a new bootstrap business is that cash is lean, and we get that. So their expectations are also and their needs are also a little bit less complicated than a large company. You know, we’re large companies might need full membership sites, they may need e commerce, they may need more pages, you know, normally a small businesses is relatively easy in their web presence is in a, they’ll have a homepage, a bio, a page about their team a contact form, and then services or products or, you know, whatever the business is centered around, there’ll be a page kind of explaining that.
And that makes it really, it makes it a much smaller project. But these layout packs allow us to find a structure that really works and that the client is going to like that we can load up dropping their content, change the colors, text and branding to match their brand, and launch your site in a short amount of time, which helps keeps the cost down and allows us to launch a site for a for a company that has a pretty tight budget in a really, really short amount of time. So it’s an exciting initiative or an exciting commitment from Elegant Themes. For them to say we’re going to pump out twice the amount of what we were doing before. And it just brings a confidence to us as web designers or freelancers who are using Divi that we know Elegant Themes has our back. And they’re going to continue to put out a product that’s going to serve us and our clients extremely well for a long time.
