What’s up everybody welcome to another episode of the Divi addicts podcast. In this episode, we’re talking about three great site migration services. And we’re not going to waste any time we’ll jump right into number one, which is Updraft Plus. And you know updraft has got a great reputation. If you ask anybody about backups and site migration and cloning and any of those things usually Updraft Plus is gonna be in that conversation. Pretty much every single time, it’s got a great reputation, the servers just works. I hear nothing but very, very good things on on that plug in on that service, which is why I wanted to put it in number one on this list.

Number two, is really any managed hosting most of them most of the good ones these days. I know for sure, flywheel, and siteground have their own migration plugin, so you can take a site from anywhere else as long as you’re migrating them over to those respective hosting plans. You can do pretty easy migration, I can tell you from firsthand experience, the one with flywheel is just awesome. You install the plugin from the WordPress repo, you type in a few, a few fields, a little bit of information about your hosting plan flywheel, and then it does the whole thing just pushes it over to the flywheel hosting, and you are good to go.

So the third one on this list is managed WP and they’re owned by GoDaddy but their their platform managed WP is phenomenal. You know, you can turn on backups, which allow you to clone sites, you just put the Manage WP worker, plug in on installing on both of the sites. And then you can pull them into your manage WP dashboard. From there, you can back them up, clone them back and forth between different things. It’s amazing. So you can set up your new site where you need to move it to install the worker, put it into your manage WP dashboard, go to the site that you need to copy, set up the Manage WP worker, do a backup put that you know link that site into the Manage WP dashboard.

And then you can just take it and copy it over to your new site. And it’s super, super easy. I believe it costs a buck 70 a month for the backup services, which is what you have to you have to turn on to be able to do cloning, but a buck 70 you can add that into the maintenance that you’re going to do for a website, add it into their monthly hosting or however you want to do it. And then just turn those backups on, move the site over and you are good to go.

So this is one you know this episode, I really wanted to keep it short, I want to keep it sweet. And give you those three quick tips we’re going to get in we’re going to get out and let you go on about your day. But I do want to say before we get out of here that I’m super amped to have just launched our course you know, if you go to Academy.Keegan Lanier media.com, we’ll link it up in the show notes, we’ve launched the course it’s been almost a year and a half in development. Super, super excited about it, we’ve got like seven or eight students already in the class working on their Divi foundation. And the feedback has been really, really good so far. They’re loving the content, we’re getting some great feedback. And I’m always listening. So I want to take you know the feedback from students and continue to make this course that much tighter.

Now the core of it is still always going to be about laying the foundation for WordPress, learning the basics of Divi now where you can start on this journey to freeing up some some time eventually, you know, if you can work and build up some some side hustle capital, it will give you time to do the things that you really love. Because eventually we’re going to take this foundation course and turn it into a full on Divi advanced course. And then from there, we’re also going to do a supplemental freelance business course. So there’s a lot that’s going to come over the next few years, a lot of content to put out that paired with all of our free stuff that we’re putting out on YouTube. If you’re not subscribed there, go check that out.
