What’s up Divi Addicts. Welcome to today’s episode of the Divi addicts podcast. We’re talking about the latest and greatest in sneak peeks. And the release this week from Elegant Themes for the Divi platform. It’s been a busy week for Elegant Themes. So let’s not waste any more time. Let’s jump right into the episode. So Elegant Themes has been extremely busy this week, we’ve got two brand new features that we’re so excited to talk about. The first one is a transformer feature. So we’ve seen so many other themes do this. But Elegant Themes, as always, is bringing the user user experience and user interface to another level. And they’re going to allow you to transform and scale and skew and do all kinds of great things that’ll be paired up with the new hover features that will be coming out very, very soon.

So we are unbelievably excited for this new feature, what it’s going to look like and what it’s going to be in the end the possibilities for design, I think it’s really just going to be unbelievable addition to what is already, in my opinion, the number one theme out there. So the other big part of what Elegant Themes released this week was their extended styles function. And this is you know, another one we talked about with the work that Elegant Themes is doing inside of the Divi visual builder right now.

And so many of them are pure value for the people who’ve committed to Elegant Themes in the Divi framework, because they aren’t really highly marketable, you know, features, they’re not something that is going to drive a ton of new leads and new sales. It’s not the big flashy header and footer builders. But it’s it’s features that help make Divi design so much more efficient. And that’s this extended styles, you know, it’s paired perfectly with the copy and replace and the copy styles. And the multi select that’s come in is going to be another one that just it, those things just make Divi so much quicker, it makes ramping up a site so much quicker. And they should be able to really change the decor the design of the site, if you say, you know, we’ve built it with this color scheme, but our client really wants to change the color scheme, they want to change this, you know, this orangish tone to a blue tone.
Keegan 2:28
And you can do that with the extended styles so, so fast, you know, so you can right click extend the style and extended either to you know, a different module row or setting just like everything that they’ve done inside of the visual visual builder. It’s just I can’t say enough about how, how valuable these these new feature sets really are to a developer, and to anybody who’s maintaining their website, you know, it’s just, it’s just great stuff.
Keegan 2:59
So we’re excited for extended styles, were really, really excited for transform and those different features. We’re really excited for the hover and just everything that’s happening inside of Divi inside of Elegant Themes. They’re doing some really, really good work, and we cannot wait to continue to see what they put out.
