Today’s episode is all about Dynamic content. We talked about how we’re using it in our latest projects and what this may be laying the foundation for next with Divi

What’s up everybody? So this week, we’re talking about the new dynamic content from Elegant Themes, we’re pretty, pretty excited for this, I think it’s, it’s like a point five release, in my mind, I mean, it works very well, I’ve been able to implement it into one of the websites we’re building right now. So that part’s really exciting. You know, it’s, it’s cool to see that you can set up a section in the Visual Builder, you can add in the dynamic content, like the page title, in the header that you build. And just based on the page name, it’s going to work. Now, I think there’s some things that they need to, to really tweak. You know, I know that they’re working on a lot of deeper integrations with custom post types. And the site that I’m building actually, and utilizing custom post types. And on the archive page that I’ve created in the title of the page shows as whatever the latest post of that custom post type is. So that’s one bug that I found already.

But overall, it works really well because you can do the backgrounds or images somewhere of using the feature image. Excuse me, I think that you know, this is one of those where the Divi Builder is amazing. And the drag and drop is awesome, it really is. But there will always be clients who want super, super simple back ends. And that means going in, uploaded an image, type it in a little bit of content into some text boxes, and then magically having a front end that just looks amazing. Based on the text that they’ve put into the back and keeping it super simple. So they’ll always be those people will always be those that want it to be very easy. But on the other hand, though, people who want to have a little bit more control, you know, want to add new sections want to change colors and do those things. And that’s possible, too.

So we’re, we’re amped for this, I’m really excited to see. And the reason I say that this is a point five release is that it doesn’t feel like this dynamic content in and in and of itself is a massive deal, even though it’s it is good. It’s a great step forward. I feel like they’re laying the foundations for something even bigger. And it all ties back to this this Theme Builder. I really think that all of this stuff they’ve been doing as of late the hover effects, the transitions, all these pieces. They’re they’re just incremental pieces in what will become a much, much, much bigger release. And I don’t know when. But man, I’m sure excited for it. I’m sure looking forward to that theme builder.

But I’m curious to know, have you had the chance to, to really get your hands into the dynamic content? There’s, there’s a lot that can be done with it, especially with the custom post types and all of these things. There’s just so many possibilities. So I’m curious to know exactly how you’re going to use it, what you’re going to utilize it in first, let us know let us know which projects you’re working on that you’re going to include the dynamic content and because like I said, we want to check them out. So Have an awesome day. That’s all for today.
