And so before we jump into episode number two, where we talk about our favorite child, we wanted to give you the opportunity to learn a little bit about our sponsor today. Alright, let’s get right to it. Today we’re talking about what it is our favorite child, right? This is not exactly what you think. Not talking about real life kids. Here we’re talking about child themes, specifically Divi child themes, which you know, we love Divi, you know, that’s why we’re here. I mean, the name of the podcast is Divi addict. So I think that kind of gives it a way, right. But today we’re talking about Divi ultimate. In my opinion, it really is the best Divi child theme for Divi, WordPress. That’s what their tagline is, that’s a weird one. They’re the best Divi Child Theme period. And currently, you can buy it for $120. It’s unlimited use. And I’m going to tell you exactly why that really, truly is a great deal. And it’s because this one child theme comes with over 20 pre made concepts.

So there’s a magazine layout, there’s a newspaper layout, there’s a creative agency layout, there’s an architect layout, there’s a barber business construction, the Divi ultimate style, which you can see if you go to Divi ultimate.com, there’s an event layout, the freelancer, gym and fitness, interior design, photography, restaurants, shops, bands, medical wedding lawyer. And then finally, the consulting. And that was the 20, there’s still some additional is that they’ve added recently in a hotel layout, and a mobile app layout. Now that’s just some of the layouts that they have. I mean, that’s the home pages that are unbelievable. There’s over 33 individually designed pages, there’s 200 plus reusable Divi library items, whether they’re modules or sections, you don’t have to have photography skills, because the photo effects are already in place. They’ve done the CSS code work, and they’ve continued to update as Divi is updated.
Keegan 2:38
There’s some designs and some features that actually take Divi to another level. There are some global custom footers, the custom widget styles, a single blog post customize customizations, there’s a custom archive styling, you can change the header globally. Then there’s also we mentioned, the single blog post customized with that in itself comes with over load with five different pre made blog styles. Plus, there’s 15 different options to help you tweak the design even more. And you have the option to add in post navigations where you can go to the next or previous there’s also a related post options. And then there’s options to hide the blog sidebar, or move it on the on mobile to the very bottom. And this was one of those requests that I actually sent it to their support that they added a checkbox for. I mean, within 12 hours, I think they went in they fixed it. So the supports awesome as well.
Keegan 3:38
There’s also some blog list designs. So there’s multiple layouts that you can choose from for the way you want your blog post to be indexed, didn’t as of Divi ultimate three, which we’re currently on version eight of Divi ultimate, but in three, they added new options for the header and navigation style were they built out, I want to say on the header options, there’s 12, and two of those are dedicated to be vertical navigation. And they’re all custom. And they have their own hover effects. And they really do things that that Divi out of the box does not allow you to do and the kicker is that all of these the layouts for the header and the footer, and archive headers and all that can all be edited inside of the visual builder. Very, very cool stuff.
Keegan 4:24
Then they also have some custom widget styling. So they’ve put in options for the widget bar, and you can customize it in the theme customizer and there’s two styles to choose from. And they they look cool. They definitely make things look quite a bit different in Divi and then we mentioned the archive styler. So there’s 15 different archive blog styles to choose from. You have the ability to inject a dynamic header and there’s three different shortcodes that you can use. It’s It’s very cool. Everything in the plugin is injected with shortcodes, which if you want to switch off But I know there’s the conversation for being difficult and whatnot. But let’s be real, every modern visual builder works off of shortcodes. It’s not as big of a deal as you might think. And if you want to go away from something like a page builder, there’s going to be the process. Regardless of which page builder you use, it’s not Divi specific.
Keegan 5:19
But in the archive style, and you also have the ability to replace the default WordPress where it says older entries and next entries with true pagination, which means that you can pick page 1,2,3,4,5, and so on, it just looks a whole lot cleaner, it’s a better user experience. I’m really that kind of that sums it up in a very, very quick way. And there’s tons of demos if you want to see the archive styles, the section styles, the page styles are there, the home pages, you can go to Divi ultimate.com, and you can walk through each individual demo and see them for yourself. They’re beautiful, whoever built these, and the Divi ultimate team did a phenomenal, phenomenal job. They’re very, very modern, very clean and very well put together.
Keegan 6:09
So it’s worth it if it’s especially if you’re looking for a unique website and unique design for your website. Divi ultimate is well worth the price. And if you’re a developer and you’re building a lot of sites and you want them to look different, you want to speed up your your development process, then Divi ultimate is definitely a way you want to go.
