What’s up Divi addicts? Welcome to episode number nine of the podcast. And today we’re talking about the latest and greatest new feature, the Elegant Themes is added to Divi, they’re calling it Divi Quick Access. So let’s jump into today’s topic.

Just a few days ago, Elegant Themes released the latest update to Divi and they brought in a brand new feature called Divi Quick Access. I’m pretty excited about this, because you can quickly identify and access Element Design Settings inside of the Visual Builder. So previously, when you hovered over something, you would get either the section, the row or the module options, but you couldn’t go specifically into pieces of those. So now, we can go hover over a pricing table, for example, and hover over the price itself and go immediately into the price text portion of the Visual Builder settings. I mean, this is just Elegant Themes at their absolute best, they’re just taking section by section and tweaked by tweak and fine tuning the actual design process, which from a person who’s doing this as a side hustle. And as a business, this is the stuff that I love. Because anytime I can take the design process and shrink that into a shorter amount of time, it’s better for me, it’s better for my clients, it’s just better all around.

So this is super, super amazing is like when you’re you know, you open up the settings and you hover over one of the section settings, you’re it’s going to put a blue box around the piece inside of the Divi Builder. And you can go through and make these quick, fine tunes to the to the design that you the, this is another one of those that I would have never expected, never really thought of. But it’s gonna it’s going to change again, the way that we design and it’s going to drastically reduce the amount of time that it takes to put these things together. So that’s, in my opinion, just unbelievable. It’s freaking great. And I’m super excited about all the work they’re putting out. You know, this is only four days old as of the recording of this. And I already know that they have a search and replace feature that’s coming out. There’s a lot more things on the horizon that we’re going to talk about here on the podcast. But this is a feature. The Quick Access feature is just another one of those examples of the continued value that Elegant Themes is bringing to all of us Divi users and anyone who has a subscription to Elegant Themes.

You know these features are updates to Divi Builder so even if you use extra, or any other theme out there because you’ve got Divi Builder as a plugin, you know, that’s always an option for anyone out there in Divi Builder. This is continued value. And that’s what I as a designer as a business person. That’s what I look for is which platforms Can I get on and utilize that bring the most value to my business. I hope this helps. I hope this helps drive the point home that Elegant Themes and Divi as a framework is a great investment if you’re wanting to design as a freelancer.
